Glue Tip: Add Image by URL

Based off of user feedback, we’ve added a new feature to Glue: our simple web & mobile content publishing tool.
This new feature lets you add an image to your news post by providing Glue an image URL. This elminates the need to download an image, just so you can upload it. This is great for mobile users that can’t download an image to their cell phone. This feature works from a web browser or mobile phone.
Here’s how to add an image by url to your news post.
1) Edit or Add a news entry. This feature works from both pages.
2) Write your news entry as normal.
3) Move down the page & select · ADD : Image by URL from the Image menu.
4) Type or paste your Image URL into the prompt and hit OK.
5) You’ll get confirmation that your URL has been added. Hit OK.
6) Post your news entry and your Image will be added to your post.

We’ll be adding this feature to the Image Library in the near future which will let you add images without adding them to a news post.
